Job Description


To strengthen its Benelux sales team in Flanders, Greiner Bio-One is looking for an

Area Manager / Account Manager

You are responsible for developing the commercial activities in your region, with a strong focus on managing and growing an existing customer portfolio, complemented by targeted prospecting.

Requirements


  • Managing and developing an existing customer portfolio in Flanders (Antwerp – Limburg)

 

  • Building long-term relationships with laboratories, hospitals, biotech companies, CROs and pharmaceutical players

 

  • Identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and selected prospects

 

  • Promoting a range of laboratory consumables and small medical devices (pipettes tips, cell culture plates, liquid handling product, cell handling and analysis solutions)

 

  • Providing technical and scientific support during customer interactions

 

  • Defining and executing a territory plan together with the Head of Sales Bioscience Belux

 

  • Working closely with internal teams (technical support, customer service, product management)

 

  • Ensuring accurate pipeline management and reporting through the CRM

Profile


  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a scientific background (BSc or MSc) in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent

 

  • Hands-on laboratory experience (hospital, research, biotech, CRO) or a commercial profile with proven experience in life sciences

 

  • Strong interest in a field-based commercial role with a long-term relationship-driven approach

 

  • Good understanding of laboratory environments and ability to explain technical solutions clearly

 

  • Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of English

 

  • Autonomous, well-organized, communicative, with a professional appearance and strong customer focus
